Social media, YONDER

Growing a travel magazine's audience, one hotel at a time

Communications & Social Media Manager, 2025 · Editorial & Social Media Assistant, 2024–2025

I joined YONDER, a French luxury travel and gastronomy magazine, as an intern and was kept on as a freelancer to run their social media. In ten months, the Instagram account more than doubled, from 17K to 38K followers.

Brand contests didn't exist before I arrived. I introduced the format, found the right contacts at each property and ran more than ten of them, turning partner hotels into some of our best-performing content.

Hotel & gastronomy features

For YONDER I visited leading hotels and houses in person, on invitation from their teams, and turned each stay into an SEO-optimised feature. Hospitality PR from the other side of the table.

Interview

Chef Gabriele Ravasio, Gordon Ramsay au Trianon. Interviewed once for YONDER, then invited back for a full portrait.

I met the chef of Gordon Ramsay's restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria Versailles – Trianon Palace for YONDER. The conversation went so well that I returned to write an in-depth portrait for WeAreKollectors.

Also interviewed or featured: Nicolas Saltiel, hotel director at Chapitre Six, and Chef Louis Gachet of the Michelin-starred Le Couvent des Minimes.

Events, Kollectors

Twenty guests, one gallery, every month

Events & Communications Manager, since January 2026

I run Kollectors' private evenings in an art gallery in Paris's 6th arrondissement: an invitation-only list of around twenty interior architects and designers, each evening built around a partner brand such as Maison Orsteel.

What I handle, end to end

  • Concept and partner brand for each evening
  • Guest curation, invitations and follow-ups
  • Logistics, suppliers and on-site hosting
  • Communications before, during and after
